Read more about Bella and her kittens at their own page (10th litter), which you will find if you click on Litters in the menu to the left. Bella gave birth easily, except for the second kitten who came bum first and got stuck for close to an hour before I managed to push it out together with Bella. You will find information about the kittens and their father on their own page. Olivia is also pregnant. I expect her to give birth sometime in the latter part of February. More information about this mating will come soon. I am so glad I kept Gabriella, who is Gabriel's spitting
image in so many ways, without them being related in any way. She is very
curious about Bella's babies, but a bit sceptic too. She sniffs them,
and hisses at them – but in a gentle manner! |

| The Siamese cat - not for the average cat
lover
|
||||||||||||
|
Neither the Oriental nor the Siamese cat are cats for the average cat lover. These cats demand more, but they also give more. No other cat can compete with them when it comes to intelligence, creativity or the ability to love. These cats are described as the “extra cats”, because they are extra everything – extra energetic, extra emotional, extra smart, extra manipulative etc. If you are looking for just a cat, you have come to the wrong place. The Oriental and the Siamese are cats for people that are a bit extra themselves . . . The Siamese and the Oriental shorthair are basically the same kind of cat, the only thing that separate them from each other are their colours and patterns. The Siamese has the coloured points (face, ears, legs and tail are coloured, and the body should be creamy white or light), while the Oriental shorthair is coloured all over and can be solid or patterned (mackerel, spotted or blotched). The body type, head and so forth are the same. As is the mental condition!
Many people get fascinated by the slender beauty of these cats, but before you consider buying one, you should read this article about what and how they are. If you are still interested, we could have a talk. |
